Betsy’s deep admiration for artwork was originally developed while growing up and spending time in her grandmother’s art studio. It’s here where she found appreciation for the collaborative relationship of finding the perfect piece for a home with the right artist.

Now working as an Art Business Professional, certified through Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Betsy approaches her works as a mutually beneficial experience between clients and the artist. Connecting admirers of pieces to the storytellers behind the work is the goal and ultimately what makes art curation so fulfilling.

Art Coordination and Exhibition Design Services

Working with an Art Curator starts with the art consultation. To establish a full understanding, the client is given style and theme guidance to assist in defining aesthetic preferences and thematic direction. Betsy then works with clients on a personalized art assessment to determine if any of Christopher Collection’s existing pieces could be the right fit and will provide recommendations from there.

If the client’s vision is not aligning with in-house pieces, Betsy then takes it a step further to offer art acquisition services. This provides the opportunity to view works that compliment the client’s vision and aesthetic preferences. Betsy’s relationships with both local and national artists guarantees that the perfect piece is going to the perfect home.

Though a big piece of the puzzle is finding the right work that fits the clients need, Christopher Collection’s art curation services sees you through the whole process. A big part of purchasing art is having a good understanding of care preservation. Betsy provides upkeep advice and guidance on framing and display techniques.

Working with an art curator is especially recommended when introducing multiple works of art in a singular space. Exhibition Design is something that can be used in both commercial and residential installation. This service ensures that the client will get the best viewing of their purchases in the most beautifully designed layout. This also takes the pressure off and allows Betsy to oversee the handling and installation process.
