Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate

Duration: October through December 2025 (holiday season)

Expectations / Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

  • Welcome customers to the showroom, assess their needs, and provide assistance and detailed product information.

  • Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing knowledge of products and design trends.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with clients through professional, caring communication before, during, and after sales.

  • Demonstrate awareness of current home furnishings, design trends, and art; be knowledgeable about in-stock and special-order showroom products.

  • Create and process invoices, purchase orders, and transfers using the POS system per company protocols.

  • Follow inventory control procedures and company policies; coordinate with management to replenish stock and ensure the showroom remains clean and organized.

  • Perform general housekeeping and any other daily tasks assigned by management.

  • Assist with gift wrapping for customers—ensuring beautifully wrapped purchases, adding a thoughtful personal touch during the holidays.

Requirements:

  • Prior retail experience—experience in luxury retail, furniture, interior design, or similar is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Square POS is beneficial.

  • Strong commitment to exemplary customer service, honesty, and integrity.

  • Creative and innovative thinker; ability to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment.

  • Seasonal availability Oct–Dec 2025, with flexibility for peak periods, including Saturdays and potential evening event shifts.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Technical aptitude and comfort using sales systems/tools.
